Last week, Stephen announced that Jimmy had matched Stephen's gift of $26,000 from the proceeds of a Colbert portrait sold at auction. Unfortunately, Stephen did not tell this to Jimmy.
However, Jimmy is very excited to raise the money for DonorsChoose.org and greatly appreciates the work his BFF (for six months) has done on his behalf.
So, as announced on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, if the Fallon / Colbert Project can raise $26,000 by this Friday April 1st, Stephen Colbert has graciously agreed to sing Rebecca Black's "Friday" accompanied by the Roots.
They raised over $40,000 more than the "quota" and were matched another $26,000 by NBC Universal by the time Friday came around. So here is the video of Stephen Colbert and others singing "Friday."myLot User Profile
